f fdny probe. is this going to be problem attic for whitaker? >> i don't think it's problematic for whitaker. it was very interesting testimony. i watched the whole thing and whitaker said repeatedly i'm not going to talk my private conversations with the president, but then went on to talk about his private conversations with the president on certain subjects. other subjects he avoided. one thing that was notable is i have great respect for members of that committee, but the questioning was awful of whitaker, and i think it was a missed opportunity to get some information and to actually press that point. >> what should have been asked of him? >> well, i think there were probably a lot of direct questions that could have been asked of him, and even this point pressed, wait a minute, you are actually talking about private conversations with the president with respect to certain topics, but not about others, and why is that, mr. whitaker? >> and highlighting that. yeah. >> yeah, yeah, yeah, but i think
