planning and preparation, but the one thing i like to do in my book is remind people that no matter how well you plan there's always a disaster and, you know, there's always someone crying and frustration and so you just roll with it and you just have as much fun as you can as you're going along with it. >> the book is called "the romney family table." home is where good things happen, you say and the heart of the home is the kitchen. >> i don't think there's anything more fun in the world than having them all under one roof. it's from the heart. where the love comes from and where good conversation happens and warm feelings. all those associations we make with home and hearth. through life we all celebrate things through the kitchen and through eating. >> you collect family recipes and you say that when each of your boys married you would give each of your new daughter daughters-in-law and a copy of the family cookbook. is that where it came from?
