to the midterm -- enthusiasm going to midterms? >> first of all, dana, congress has failed. not just the american people but our children. by not taking this up. so i think that the states have no choice and i applaud the 40 points in governor abbott's measure. i stand somewhat with the democrats in the state of texas it doesn't go far enough. katie says it's comprehensive. it's a comprehensive problem. it doesn't address if kids get the parent's gun. >> it does. >> it doesn't address the type of weapon and it does not certainly 24 hours, it doesn't go far enough. i want more gun control measures. you need both. you need congress along with the points and proposals in the state level as well. for the midterms i think honestly, sadly, dana, every time there is a shooting there seems to be more young people that register to vote.
