chose seoul because of its cultural influence and creativity. a big marketing event for the city of seoul working on its image as asia center of design. but after protests from animal rights groups, the local government had threatened to cancel the show if fur products appear on stage. then the government reversed switching sides from the animal rights group to fendi, the show was on. that sparked angry protesters to gather at the venue, chanting, performing, staging, and children taking part. >> it is expensive. it is cruel. i think it is something on the way out. i think that it is time for fendi to realize that. >> reporter: fendi was defiant, revealing plenty of fur on the catwalk. >> womenswear, menswear, as you saw in the fashion show. we had beautiful little children on the runway. and of course, a fashion house like fendi does also fur. of course there were going to be some fur pieces. >> reporter: the hot style will be a collage of sable, fox, chinchilla, and mink. joohee cho, seoul, south korea.
