jeff rossen, a very famous case, we've all southbound watching. several potential jurors were excused yesterday. what's the reason behind that? >> reporter: such a high-profile case, many people have been hearing about this for many years. steven haze, hi trial already happened. he was convicted, now on death row, sentenced to the death penalty. that has been widely reported in the media. this is his alleged accomplice on trial, so finding an untainted jury pool is difficult. under the law they're allow to know about the trial. they just need to be able to walk in under the law and follow the facts, follow the evidence only and keep an open mind. so far they have turned dozens away. one of the jurors told reporters outside, look, i think he's a murderer, so i'm not about to keep an open mind. another man said he's guilty. so jury selection still continuing. the suspectit's a famous case w
