NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 4, 2021) – With flavors from France to Philly, Assembly Food Hall is bringing two new-to-Nashville concepts to its multilevel dining and entertainment destination at Fifth + Broadway. The much-anticipated downtown establishment is opening its doors this spring. Whisk Crepes Café will feature sweet and savory crepes that Chef Julien Eelsen learned to make as a child in France. Born and raised in Paris, he learned the art of creating “the perfect crepe” from his grandmother. Chef Eelsen’s menu includes savory crepes with a variety of fillings like eggs, chicken, ham, bacon, smoked salmon and brisket. “Midnight in Paris” is one of his sweet crepes made with raspberries, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chocolate ice cream, while “Fair Day” features cinnamon cream, apples, caramel and pecans. Chef Eelsen also plans to serve salads and sandwiches, including Croque Monsieur, and espressos and lattes with coffee sourced from local vendors.
