Duke Energy: Over 8,000 customers without power following severe storms in Greater Cincinnati

Duke Energy is addressing a number of power outages in Monroe and surrounding counties after Thursday’s high winds. (Stephen Crane / Mooresville-Decatur Times)
As of 8:15 p.m., there were 8,964 customers without power in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, according Duke Energy's power outage map. Hamilton County is the most effected by the outages, with over 6,000 customers without power. 
The maximum time for customers' power to be restored ranges from 10:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the company's website.
