“Real Leather. Stay Different.” - Competition open to students worldwide 10 February 2021 The Leather and Hide Council of America (LHCA) has launched the “Real Leather Stay Different 2021 International Student Design Competition”, open to students from any country, reports ILM.
The LHCA said the international competition builds on a similar model to the ongoing competitions in Taiwan, China, UK and Italy. Held completely online, it is open to all students and recent graduates from any university in any country. “We believe this exciting event will help take our design competition to the next level”, said Stephen Sothmann, President, LHCA. Selected by a panel of judges, the winners of the competition will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to London and have their product designs professionally manufactured and featured on the front cover of Rollacoaster Magazine, worn by a celebrity model. “We hope that a prize of this magnitude will encourage substantial, widespread participation in the competition”, said Sothmann.
