Photo / 123RF Fonterra-controlled Chilean food group Soprole overcame difficulties imposed by a weak economy and Covid-19 to post a 16.8 per cent increase in its net profit in 2020. Soprole's annual report shows its profit came to 22.5 billion Chilean pesos (CLP), or NZ$45.8 million, up from 19.25 billion CLP in the previous year, which was hit by falling sales and declining milk supply.
