Global Atlanta Along with helping create a French Tech hub, the French consulate in Atlanta is bringing together scientists, researchers and startups in a network that will help better capitalize on opportunities to foster exchange and cooperation. The academic and scientific communities are notorious for operating in proverbial silos — failing to see potentially game-changing connections because they’re so focused on their own research. The Consulate General of France in Atlanta is aiming to make sure that doesn’t happen when it comes to potential partnerships between France and the Southeast U.S. The Office of Science and Technology, an arm of the French diplomatic service working across its six missions in the U.S., is building a network of professors, researchers, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders.
