Gamsu has signed with 100 Thieves Next, the amateur team of 100 Thieves, marking the top laner's first LoL esports venture in North America since playing with Dignitas in the 2015 NA League of Legends Championship Series season.
In the summer of 2014, Gamsu was one of many substitutes for Samsung Blue in South Korea, but made his professional debut with DIG at Intel Extreme Masters Season IX: Cologne after Team Curse, who had been bought out by Team Liquid, declined its invitation to compete. Gamsu wasn't the only South Korean to debut for Dignitas professionally at the tournament — CoreJJ" Yong-In, who played AD carry at the time, also made his pro debut with Dignitas.
