HomeAid continues to receive contributions in spite of COVID-19 challenges

The challenges associated with a global pandemic can affect charities at their most vulnerable and most important efforts, that is fundraising. In spite of this, HomeAid continues to receive unexpected donations from various sources, most of which are past contributors. Over the past several months HomeAid is honored to have received donations from local organizations and individuals who appreciate their donations will go toward current and future project development and project completions.
HomeAid received a donation of $5,000 to the HomeAid Heroes program for 2021 from Bank of America. A check for $4,000 was presented to HomeAid by Taylor Morrison from the Taylor Morrison Foundation, to support ongoing projects. A Houston Endowment grant was received in March for $35,000; Tom Walker, past president of GHBA and his wife Janet presented HomeAid with a check for $1,000.
