I'm knocking on wood as I type, but Wednesday's historic presidential inauguration ceremonies appear to have gone off without a hitch.
Joe Biden is the president, and Kamala Harris – the first Black woman of Asian descent to hold the office – is vice president. It was a peaceful and socially distant ceremony, in stark contrast to how the Capitol looked weeks ago when former President Donald Trump supporters stormed the building.
