my first yiear in ioffice. i know people will hear the jobs record and say they don't see it, they don't feel it, in their own lives. i know how hard it is. i know it is hard to feel good about job creation when you already have a job and you are dealing with rising prices, food and gas and 1067 more. i get it. i can remember sitting at my mom and dad's dining room table and watching them choose which bills they were going to pay that month. because there wasn't enough money to pay all the bills. i get it. that is why i'm doing everything in my power to lower the cost for families. we've seen some progress. gas prices are coming down. they are down almost a dollar a gallon from where they were just a month ago. and we're making progress. we now have more than 50 straight days of falling gas prices in this country.
