Wife’s family murders man they had not approved of Bangalore Mirror Bureau / Updated: Feb 17, 2021, 06:00 IST They forced her into another marriage, but she eloped with man she loved A 27-year-old man was murdered by his brother-in-law and relatives of his wife a day before his birthday in front of his house in Laggere on Tuesday. His wife’s family had called him under the pretext of wishing him. The deceased has been identified as N Chetan, a resident of Laggere and an electrician. Chetan was married to Bhumika, from Kunigal in Tumkuru, just two months ago. The police have detained the suspects, Bhumika’s younger brother Akash Kumar, 19, a cab driver, her uncle, Nanjesh, 58, an assistant in a hotel and her first cousin, Dilip, 20, a flower vendor. Police said that Bhumika was in love with Chetan but her parents did not approve of their marriage.
