Apr 3, 2021 Notre Dame is making a run at a number of the nation's best corners in the 2022 class, but the top player on the board is Lexington (Miss.) Holmes County star Khamauri Rogers, and the elite cover player has the Fighting Irish among his final six programs. Notre Dame made the final six along with Miami, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Rogers ranks as the nation's No. 47 overall player by Rivals, and he grades out as a borderline five-star recruit on the Irish Breakdown board. At 6-1 with very long arms, Rogers has the elite length that Notre Dame covets at corner, but what separates him from other long corners is that Rogers is also an elite athlete and has a very high football IQ. He's incredibly smooth, fluid and his recovery speed is outstanding.
