Japan trial of alleged Ghosn escape accomplices set for June

TOKYO, April 28 — Two Americans accused of helping former Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn jump bail and flee Japan will go on trial in Tokyo from June, the Tokyo District Court confirmed today.
Former US Army Green Beret Michael Taylor, 60, and his son Peter will have their first hearing on June 14, a court spokesman told AFP. They face up to three years in prison.
