Z Energy was the biggest gainer of the day, increasing 3.4 per cent to $2.75 after the release of its 2021 results which were well received. The fuel retailer reported net profit after tax of $57 million, with a final dividend of 14 cents per share. The next best performer was Kathmandu Holdings, rising 2.7 per cent to $1.52. The outdoor retailer is continuing its two months upward trend, with a lift in sales by competitor MacPac potentially improving sentiment for the stock.
