Karl-Heinz Rummenigge inadvertently stokes fire of Jurgen Klopp potentially coming to Bayern Munich Share this story Photo by Martin Rose/Getty Images As of yet, Bayern Munich has been one of the most prominent clubs in Europe to come out and officially reject the notion of the newly formed European Super League. No Bundesliga club is currently involved in the plans for the new league, but the same can’t be said for the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A. Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was firm in his public stance that the club does not support the Super League, rather they support the proposed reforms for the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. His bold statement has sparked further speculation that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could be tempted to leave his post on Merseyside, as he is unhappy with FSG’s decision to take part in the Super League (The Express).
