This is time lapse video from when the moon was rising over the bay bridge. Thats a gorgeous shot right there. It really, and its a gorgeous night. Its a perfect night for trick or treating, but that was kind of discouraged so there wasnt a lot of that going on. Very 2020, right . Perfect weather to be outside, blue moon, first weve seen since 2001. All those factors coming outside, yes, it was a bit of warm evening, too, and kind of summerlike start to the weekend. Were going to see another one of those days tomorrow where some of were inland temperatures in the mid80s and looks dry through election day and then the most interesting part of the forecast could be towards next weekend. Were going to see cooler temperatures and possibly a chance of seeing a few showers. Lets take you outside right now. Temperatures actually have cooled off quite a bit. Around the north bay weve dropped into the low 50s, on our way to some 40s towards tomorrow morning and other locations around the bay area right now still in the upper 50s san jose, and take you on a tour, no fog San Francisco, 57 degrees, wind relatively calm. Not much happening in walnut creek. Similar temperature there with hazy skies. And in san jose, 58 degrees. For the morning some patches of low clouds on the coast. Might see a few high clouds around the north bay. Notice the change in the sunrise and sunset times as we set the clocks back one hour tonight. That gets you the extra hour of sleep and now sunrise occurring during the 6 00 a. M. Hour, and sunset during the 5 00 hour. Notice also some high clouds coming in from the east. Upper level winds, they continue to bring in a bit of smoke from the creek fire burning near the sierra. Look at your highs for the afternoon. Mid80s from the north bay valleys, east bay valleys and down into san jose. Similar trend expected into monday. High pressure continues to hold strong for the first half of the week. Youll notice as we head towards friday we begin to see changes. We know its going to be cooler. But if this low tracks far enough to the west over the ocean it should scoop up enough moisture to at least toss some showers our way saturday, and then we trend dryer into sunday. Right now the model outlook for rain chances looking pretty good with this particular model. The other a little bit dryer but still giving us a chance for precipitation. Boy, this is going to be the focus of the week. As the low currently projected to drop down along the coast that is one that at least presents the chance of seeing some showers. But stay tuned. If that low is little bit farther inland by just a couple hundred miles we get the cool air but not as much rain. Well call for a chance of showers by next saturday. In the meantime extension of summer like temperatures. And valley locations are going to see a big drop. Could be looking at only highs in the mid60s next weekend as we keep those fingers crossed. Were seeing more than just cooler temperatures but hopefully a chance of showers to talk about next weekend. Well send it back to you. Thanks, rob. The more showers the merrier. Lets check in with Anthony Flores right now. He has lost the darth vader outfit we saw earlier, and we have to say we did love it. Thank you very much. My storm troopers as well, ive lost them. The spartans 20 for the First Time Since 1987. Well, three years ago today the 49ers got a big treat on halloween when they traded for quarterback jimmy garoppolo. He leads the niners in the sunday showdown against the seahawks. This is one of the best rivalries in football. Last years Season Finale came down to a few inches at the goal line. Seattles defense this season has been struggling but, hey, they still have Russell Wilson a quarterback. One huge advantage for the 49ers, no fans allowed at the stadium meaning the famed 12 will not be able to have an impact with the crowd noise. Ill miss the atmosphere up there. Thats one of the cooler places to play with it fans and everything. But definitely with the cadence, the procedure and all that stuff, itll definitely make it easier for us. Itll be refreshing because it definitely i think gives offense an advantage. Th
