LeBron James breaks NBA pandemic protocol by attending tequila brand photoshoot with Drake and Michael B. Jordan - but is allowed to suit up for playoff opener because 'the brief, outdoor event was deemed a low risk'
LeBron James was allowed to play in Sunday's playoff opener after violating the NBA's health and safety protocol by attending a photoshoot last week 
Other NBA players have been required to quarantine after violating protocol 
The event, which was also attended by Drake and Michael B. Jordan, required attendees to prove they were either vaccinated or recently tested negative  
Since the brief event was outdoors, the league determined that no quarantine was necessary. James and the Lakers fell to the Suns in Game 1 on Sunday
