We were told that children’s education was a priority. The overzealous enforcement of self-isolation (report, June 29) suggests otherwise. Kevin Wright
SIR – On Monday evening we learnt that a pupil in Year One had tested positive for Covid-19. The child is a member of a bubble of 35 pupils, all of whom are now required to self-isolate for 10 days. The disruption to children, their parents and teachers is significant, and out of proportion to the risk.
