Lithuanian regulator issues waste management permits : Waste

Lithuania's State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate recently issued two licences to the Ignalina nuclear power plant to start industrial operation of solid radioactive waste management and storage facilities. It also granted a permit for the transportation of waste to a very-low-level radioactive waste repository.
