Norton Rose Fulbright has represented a subsidiary of Australian investment bank Macquarie Capital on the sale of a Texas solar project to infrastructure solutions company S&B USA. Macquarie’s subsidiary, Savion, has agreed to sell its entire interest in the Brazoria West solar project, located in Brazoria County, about 40 miles south-west of Houston. The transaction is expected to close by the end of Spring, with the solar project’s construction expected to begin in the second quarter of this year. Commercial operation is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2022.
