However, in recent years the brewery has also produced non-sour “clean” beers including a pilsner, lager and several IPAs. Owner Ben Neidhart recommends first-time customers try the Coolship Lager, a crisp, clean and approachable beer, but adds, “Since we have a big assortment of offerings, customers should feel free to email us and we can give them specific recommendations.” Fans of more unusual beers may want to try sour offerings like Tempus or Exilis, or the wonderfully offbeat Kalvis Jupiter, which is made with kombucha.
