Verma led design of new kidney care model for Medicare beneficiaries under Trump administration The administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services under former President Donald Trump, has been elected to the board of Nashville-based kidney care startup Monogram Health. Seema Verma joins the venture as Monogram is rapidly growing its national network, most recently opening an operations hub in Arizona to support its Western expansion. The almost-three-year-old company offers specialized in-home care management for chronic kidney and end-stage renal disease to health plans, physician practices and dialysis providers. Backed by Frist Cressey Ventures, Monogram has landed partnerships with Cigna, Humana and health plans in Arizona and California and now operates in 20 states.
