The Nigerian government has revealed that the first set of RTS,S/AS01 malaria vaccine is expected to arrive in the country by April 2024.   SaharaReporters reported on April 17 that Nigeria approved the use of R21/Matrix-M malaria vaccine developed by the University of Oxford and manufactured by the Serum Institute of India, becoming the second African country after Ghana to approve the use of the vaccine.
