Nigerian Army Says Troops Intercepted 'Large Quantity' Of Illicit Drug In Ogun Village

The Nigerian Army has said that troops of the 35 Artillery Brigade intercepted a Mazda vehicle with registration number NRK 622 SB conveying a large quantity of substance suspected to be Cannabis Sativa.   The vehicle was intercepted at Mologbede village in the Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State on Friday, March 29, 2024.   A statement by the Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 35 Artillery Brigade, Mohammed Goni, said the exhibits had been handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
