Photo: TWITTER/IAOKOWADelta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, yesterday, urged the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to put more emphasis on its Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to enable its road projects to last longer. Okowa stated this at Idumuje-Unor, Aniocha North Council of the state during a reception organised for Justice Samuel Chukwudumebi Oseji on his elevation to Justice of the Supreme Court. x The governor who was reacting to an appeal by the community to prevail on the NDDC to complete the Onicha-Uku/Idumuje-Unor Road awarded since 2012, said there was the need for a review of the contract, as the value of the naira had weakened over the years.
