John Fetterman, who gained national attention as an unconventional Braddock mayor and Pennsylvania lieutenant governor, is exploring his second bid for a U.S. Senate seat. He started collecting donations from supporters Friday morning, and his campaign website and Twitter account lay out his priorities. "Pennsylvania will be the most important Senate race in 2022," his website says. "We think we can win if we go for it." Fetterman on Twitter shared part of his platform: higher wages, free healthcare, LGBTQIA rights, legal weed, stronger unions, criminal justice reform, rebuilding forgotten communities and a better immigration policies. Fetterman lost a 2016 Democratic primary to Katie McGinty, who ultimately lost to Republican incumbent Sen. Pat Toomey.
