Organization must be a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Fiscally sponsored organizations are eligible. The 501(c)(3) non-profit organization must have an annual operating budget of more than $100,000 (defined by the organization’s most recent 990). The program being submitted by the organization must have been in existence and in operation for at least one year. Organization must not have received cash or grant funding from Comcast NBCUniversal or an NBC or Telemundo owned television station in an amount equal to or exceeding $10,000 per year during any of the past three (3) years. This includes previous Project Innovation winners, Comcast NBCUnites partners, local NBC or Telemundo station partners, Comcast regional partners, and Comcast Community Impact partners (including, but not limited to local chapters and affiliates from the following organizations: Boys and Girls Clubs, Big Brothers Big Sisters, City Year, Easter Seals and The Arc).
