Regulation change allows Alberta RCMP to participate in Clare's Law

Alberta RCMP say they are in a “better place now” to support victims of domestic violence after newly announced regulation changes by the federal government gave Mounties the ability to fully participate in Clare’s Law.
Only two provinces — Alberta and Saskatchewan — have enacted versions of the domestic violence prevention legislation, allowing individuals to obtain information about their current or former partner’s potentially abusive past.
