Second phase of SLPP constituency conventions begin : vimars

The second phase of the 'Sivdesa Suraki Siv Varsha' conventions which is being held island wide to coincide with the fourth anniversary of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna begins today. The first phase was held on December 19 and 20 in 32 electorates island wide.
In addition to the main party delegates' convention, 61 conferences of women, youth and other affiliated organizations were also held concurrently, according to the media unit of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.
The series of conventions will be organized in all districts and will be attended by party MPs, former provincial councilors, local government representatives and other party activists.
