Shake Shack and Uber Eats signed an exclusive deal to offer delivery directly on the fast-casual giant's iOS app in a pilot that launched Wednesday. It's one of several moves the company has made to shift further online as people remain at home and urban centers see less lunch crowds. CMO Jay Livingston told Business Insider the company has signed up 1.4 million first-time purchasers through its digital channels since March. The company also plans to build out drive-up centers and continue to focus on its social media presence in the coming year.
