(Photo via Spotify) Music festivals are making a comeback after a year of empty stages and unsullied fields. But you don't need to risk your health (or newfound agoraphobia) to connect with artists and other fans. Spotify this week announced a new virtual concert experience, set to kick off next week with the first of five pre-recorded livestreams. Tune in every Thursday from May 27 to June 24 for "intimate" performances by The Black Keys (May 27), Rag'n'Bone Man (June 3), Bleachers (June 10), Leon Bridges (June 17), and girl in red (June 24). "While some parts of the world are beginning to open up, we recognize not everyone is comfortable with or able to attend in-person events just yet," the Spotify team wrote in a blog announcement. "These shows will allow fans to experience and support their favorite artists while immersing themselves in a performance-style experience they crave."
