Things to do in Long Beach this weekend including...Broadway

Drug and alcohol recovery non-profit The Phoenix are looking for volunteers to help clean up Palos Verdes Beach on Earth Day, Thursday, April 22.
The Phoenix will supply participants with equipment and extra masks if needed, they only request that volunteers be at least two days sober if they want to participate.

Explore the San Pedro coast on a tall ship, for free, with the Los Angeles Maritime Institute Saturday, April 24. This three-hour excursion, geared toward raising awareness about environmental pollution will include hands-on scientific activities for children and adults, in addition to docent-led talks about the coast.
