TOTC debuts $62,500 bartender support fund 25th February, 2021 by Owen Bellwood The Tales of the Cocktail Foundation has unveiled a US$62,500 support package to aid bartenders in New Orleans impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Tales of the Cocktail Foundation will award 250 New Orleans bartenders US$250 The Mardi Gras Gives initiative has been created in partnership with Gambino’s King Cake Rum Cream, Gambino’s Bakery, Tequila Tromba USA, Republic National Distributing Company, Don Q Rum, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Rémy Cointreau, Edrington, and 375 Park Avenue Spirits. The US$62,500 fund will be distributed to 250 bartenders and bar backs working across New Orleans that have been furloughed or laid off as a result of the pandemic.
