a foreign language. if someone says i need to leave the house in ten minutes, i have no idea how long that is. so my way of getting round this is to think of ten minutes as three taylor swift songs. this is a bus timetable, the only issue is that when i actually look at it doesn't really look like anything at all, itjust looks like different languages all muddled together, particularly the numbers running down here. it's notjust numbers, i have trouble figuring out what before and after mean and i can't really visualise left and right in my head, i have to hold up my hands like this. i've never been diagnosed with dyscalculia, the first time i even heard of it was when i was about five years old and i remember a teacher telling me someone in my class that i was doing easier maths questions because i had dyscalculia. but it meant nothing to me, so i went home and me and my mum looked it up on the internet.
