left that showed red flags, if nothing else. and then there's this aspect -- the family has been pretty forthcoming with investigators about the trouble that they've had with mohammad, with that 24-year-old. they say he changed, something changed in him when he went over to jordan. they sent him there to get away from bad influences. do you think the answers to the motive lie in jordan? >> i actually don't because it's now five or six days later since the investigation started. jordan is an ally in our counterterrorism efforts. i have to believe that all information about his visits there is being shared, and this -- what the family said today makes sense to me. it's very common in immigrant communities that if the child becomes, you know, into drugs and american sentiment, that they send them back to families that are more conservative.
