central parking lot. and that's where there are hundreds of cars, there were hundreds of, if not thousands of people inside these various stores. and many people here now coming to the realization that many of their belongings, their cars -- they will not be able to get back into that area tonight, so, that is the situation that they're dealing with, while investigators, and we've seen law enforcement teams walking through the -- through each of the department stores, doing the final securing, making sure there's no other gunman. and as we heard a little while ago from law enforcement here in allen, texas, they believe there is not a second gunman. and they have also told us it was an allen police officer who shot, and apparently killed the gunman in this situation. we're told by law enforcement that there will be another briefing that could happen here within the hour, so, perhaps more of these details will be better fleshed out, but everything that i've shared with you so far is really what we've been able to gather from witnesses who were very close to the shooting scene when it
