reporter's perspective how they didn't see this? >> shannon: i think give credit where credit is due, a little combative at the end and was kind of joking to reporters, how long do you expect me to do this? don't open that door because everyone yelled yes. he had a little chuckle there and he said okay, i'll give you 20 more minutes. but it's up to reporters, there's a host of issues and a range of issues that we want to cover when we go in that room. you are hoping your question doesn't get asked but you have two or three or four topics and because he hasn't made himself more available in this way, sure, there are topics that he didn't get to, important ones like crime and others. when he was critiqued on why people were getting on board with him it was sort of well, it's the messaging. i need to get back out there. i want to get back out there and be with people, but where we were in the campaign was not being out there. because the few things that he did get out there and do, work
