>> in the next half hour we'll get the update from the hurricane center. they'll tell us if it's actually moving instead of being stationary. it will also give us that new forecast path. i know a lot of people in south carolina and north carolina are going to be very, you know, interested. watching it closely for good reason, too. i'll explain that in a second. so these are the numbers. 120's the max winds right now in the northern eye and the thunderstorms. it's stationary. it looks like it's starting to drift maybe a little bit. i mean, not a lot, but eventually. here's going to be the interesting part of this forecast. the forecast has improved for florida. it looks far enough off the coast that you don't have to deal with a lot of wind problems and a lot of rain problems, maybe some storm surge. we could have direct impacts from wind, storm surge and rain in parts of eastern south carolina. a lot of our computer models along the coast. a new model we got in is the american gfs model, maybe just brushing the coast.
