the situation isn't stable or safe. so the emergency crews have generally been keeping folks out while they're making sure that the neighborhoods are safe before people can go back and see exactly the state of their homes. >> when do you expect that to be, mayor? >> i don't think we're sure exactly. i think they're hoping to let folks back in tomorrow, but it's an hour by hour thing seeing how safe things are and when people can come back in. >> and where are folks staying right now? what type of facilities do you have for people that have had to evacuate their homes? do you have enough supplies? food, water? are you getting enough help from the federal government at this point in the recovery? >> yes. we've had an incredible outpouring of support and we're incredibly grateful. the red cross has set up multiple evacuation centers and those have been fully staffed and folks have been staying there. most folks have been able to find friends and family.
