invests heavily in training and choreography for performers around the world. >> it was a terrible, awful accident, and my heart went out to the artist who is suffering now. >> reporter: the circus says wu is stable at the hospital. doctors are treating a lower back injury. this circus is scheduled to run here in philadelphia through november 15th. live in fairmount park, drew smith nbc 10 news. >>. >> a south jersey child is hospitalized with burns after his halloween costume caught fire. the 7 year old brushed up against a candle causing his costume to ignite. it happened this afternoon on the 900 block of stockton drive in harrison township gloucester county. he was taken to the burn center with second degree burns. children trick-or-treated tonight in a south jersey neighborhood shaken by the mysterious death of a 3-year-old boy. people in hadden township are still waiting for answers about how brendan creato ended up dead lying in the woods nearly three weeks ago. in the midst of the tragedy parents tell nbc 10 that they wanted to allow their kids to get out tonight for halloween. they're wondering if someone still on the loose could have been responsible. still, people didn't let the unease stop tonight's tradition. >> a couple of weeks ago i may have felt like that, but i've settled, you know. i have faith in the camden county prosecutor. i'm sure they'll get to the bottom of it. we xr a good police force. >> reporter: hadden township police asked parents to walk with their kids once it got dark but there were no major issues. a halloween tragedy tonight in new york city. police say a car plowed into a group of trick-or-treaters, killing three people including a 10-year-old girl. four others were hurt, including the driver. witnesses say that car went airborne after leaving the street and ended up in the front yard of a house. new information on a russian passenger plane that crashed this morning in egypt's sinai peninsula killing all 224 people on board, including 25 children. the wife of the co-pilot said he had complained about the condition of the plane, but moscow-based metro jet said the aircraft was in good shape and the pilot was experienced. the airbus a-321 disappeared in radar, went down 23 minutes after taking off. it crashed in an area where egyptian forces have been battling an islamic insurgency. isis has claimed responsibility for the crash but has offered no proof. at least six people are dead after strong storms caused heavy flooding and tornadoes in texas. some parts of the houston area have gotten nearly 12 inches of rain since yesterday. now, the houston fire department has responded to more than 130 water rescues today alone. tornadoes hit tro fearby towns, injuring two and damaging about 30 homes, yet another tornado touched down at the rv park. no one was hurt there. well, no rain for us this halloween, but it is cold out there. nbc 10 first alert meteorologist britntney shipp with warmer weather. >> that's right. temperatures below average today and as we head into tomorrow, we'll warm well above average for this time of year. temperaturewise we're at 52 degrees in philadelphia, 47 in pottstown, 44 degrees in allentown, 50 in wilmington. not too bad out there for the late trick-or-treaters. notice the wind direction coming up from the south. this means warmer air is heading into tonight. you'll wake up to even warmer temperatures and definitely by tomorrow afternoon you'll really notice a difference xs. so for you early riser, 5:00 a.m., temperatures in the low 50s, 53 by 9:00 a.m., temperatures close to 60 degrees. by noon, 65. our high for tomorrow will get closer to 70 degrees for philadelphia. we'll warm to 68 degrees for pottstown, 67 for allentown and 59 for the poconos. we are also tracking a slight chance of a few stray showers headtion into sunday from this system. by monday, i'm tracking afternoon rain. i'll let you know how both systems shape up. that's took center stage in delaware county today. residents gathered in media with a message for governor tom wolf. stop holding taxpayers hostage. wolf was in town for a get out the vote rally, but some parents used the event for an opportunity to get the governor's attention on the impact the ongoing budget stalemate is having on their children. >> the budget hasn't passed. we don't have work books for our kids. we've written letters, signed petitions. and nothing's happened. so we heard the governor was going to be here so we thought, you know what, let's get a group of people out here and nbc 10 first alert weather with meteorologist brittney shipp. >> good evening. we did see a chilly day, temperatures staying delow average, only in the 50s for us. but as we head into tomorrow, we'll actually warm back into the 70s, a mild sunday on tap. but first tomorrow morning we are going to see a few stray showers. i'll let you know which naid neighborhoods have the best chance. monday we're tracking rain for a certain area. i'll show you that as well. right now a closer look outside. just a few clouds, 52 degrees, our humidity at 66%, a decent level. wind speeds out of the south-southeast at 7 miles per hour. temperatures at 52 in philadelphia, 50 in wilmington. we're at 51 in atlantic city, low 50s in wildwood, 44 in allentown. our wind speeds are going to be breezy heading into most of your sunday morning, even into the afternoon. so we'll see one gust close to 25, even up to about 30 miles per hour as we go into the afternoon. but the wind direction is going to be out of the south and then shifting out of the southwest. that's going to be warmer air moving in. the other thing we're tracking is two chances for some precipitation. this area of low pressure, this weather disturbance moving through the great lakes, the tail end of that is going to actually give us a chance for stray showers tomorrow morning. then we're going to look at this system a bit more powerful. it's going to give us rain as we head into monday afternoon. so let's start with the first system. by 6:00 a.m., as you can look at the poconos, lancaster county could see the stray shower s moving through. at 9:00, parts of delaware just north of cape may will also see the showers. but after that, we clear up nicely. we are still going to be dealing with clouds throughout the day but mild conditions will move in. monday is going to be a different story as we head into monday afternoon, not as you're going to work but possibly heading home and out about monday. that's when we expect the rain to move in with that other system moving up from the south. you'll notice the places that have the best chance to see rainfall mainly points south of philadelphia. so we're talking south jersey, most of delaware. that's going to clear up as you head to work on tuesday. a bill reminder for you, make sure you turn your clocks back an hour so you get an extra hour of sleep. we'll see a pretty early sunset on sunday. the sun expecting to set right around 4:59 with that loss of an hour of daylight there. highs around the area tomorrow 70 degrees for philadelphia, 68 for pottstown, mostly cloudy for us tonight. we drop down to 48 for philadelphia. heading down, a big bump in our temperatures, we range between 66 and 70. your seven-day forecast shows as we need the
