The San Francisco Chronicle reported Friday the Uniqlo store on Powell Street is closing its doors. The company website indicates March 21 will be the last day of businesses. Uniqlo didn't immediately respond to a request for comment on the reason for the closure. Nearby locations at the Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco, Bay Street in Emeryville and Serramonte in Daly City will remain open.
