Shadow and Act and Deadline report famed “The Case for Reparations” author Ta-Nehisi Coates is writing the script with J.J. Abrams (”Star Wars,” “Star Trek”) producing under under his Bad Robot company. Hannah Minghella, who’s working on the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” reboot, will serve as producer. “To be invited into the DC Extended Universe by Warner Bros., DC Films and Bad Robot is an honor. I look forward to meaningfully adding to the legacy of America’s most iconic mythic hero,” Coates told Shadow and Act.
