US working with India on co-producing extended-range artille

The US is working with India to co-produce extended-range artillery and infantry vehicles along its border with China to address China's "coercion and harassment", according to Ely Ratner, Assistant Secretary of Defence for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs. The Indian and Chinese troops have been engaged in a military confrontation in certain friction points in eastern Ladakh in the Himalayas for more than three years
