buckingham palace with all the panoply of a prime minister with the armoured vehicle and outriders and then having to swap to their own private vehicle, a kind of old banger that slipped out of buckingham palace. that doesn't happen any more. an outgoing prime minister would not get the outriders, but they would leave here still in the same vehicle that they arrived in. the other thing is that the incoming prime minister is already under the protection of scotland yard. we saw that yesterday in terms of the vehicle in which we saw mr sunak at central office and the protection people who were with him, but what we don't know is the direction in which they will be bringing him from. so all eyes at the moment being kept to ensure that if and when, or when, i should say, mr sunak does approach buckingham palace we will get a sight of him. but he would be due, it is 1059 and we are coming up to 11 o'clock, so i think in the next couple of minutes

Officials said that one officer was shot twice, and another officer was struck in the arm by gunfire. They were taken to the hospital, and their conditions are unknown. Las Vegas Official Wants Nevada To Become First To Ban Ornamental Grass | Talk Radio 105.9

By Bill Galluccio
Apr 12, 2021
A water official from Las Vegas is urging state legislators to pass a law that would ban ornamental grass that nobody walks on. This includes grassy areas in office parks and housing communities and the grass that fills roadway medians.
Southern Nevada Water Authority public service director
Andy Belanger wants to see that grass removed by December 2026.
"SNWA's Andy Belanger: We're asking the legislature to consider legislation to require the removal of unused turf throughout the LV Valley by Dec. 2026. What's unused turf? It's grass that never gets stepped on except when it's mowed," the SNWA tweeted.

The White House said that it will not be altering its vaccine distribution plan in response to a surge of cases in Michigan. During a Monday (April 12) morning press briefing, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr.
Rochelle Walensky said that officials need to "shut things down" to deal with the recent uptick in new cases.
Over the past week, Michigan saw a 16% surge in the average number of daily COVID-19 infections. According to
While Michigan Governor
Gretchen Whitmer has called on the CDC to provide her state with more vaccines, federal officials have refused, saying the state needs to put new restrictions in place to deal with the rise in cases.

Regeneron's Antibody Cocktail Helps Prevent Symptomatic COVID Infections | Talk Radio 105.9

By Bill Galluccio
Apr 12, 2021
Regeneron announced that the results of a Phase 3 clinical trial show that its antibody cocktail helps prevent symptomatic COVID-19 infections. The company said that the drug, named REGEN-COV, reduced the risk of symptomatic infections by 81%.
The drug cocktail was granted an emergency use authorization by the Food and Drug Administration to treat high-risk, non-hospitalized patients with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19. That treatment was only approved to be given intravenously.
"COVID-19 transmission often occurs via infected people who do not yet have symptoms, so it is critical that we rapidly diagnose and treat these individuals for their own health and to prevent transmission," said

Investigators Determine Cause Of Tiger Woods Crash But Refuse To Reveal It | Talk Radio 105.9

By Bill Galluccio
Mar 31, 2021
Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office have wrapped up their investigation into the single-car accident involving
Tiger Woods. While investigators have determined what caused the accident, they refused to provide any details citing privacy concerns.
"We have reached out to Tiger Woods and his personnel," Los Angeles Sheriff
Alex Villanueva said. "There's some privacy issues on releasing information on the investigation, so we're going to ask them if they waive the privacy, and then we will be able to do a full release on all the information regarding the accident."
Woods was seriously injured after he lost control of the Genesis SUV he was driving on the morning of February 23. The car struck a raised median and spun out control across two lanes of on-coming traffic before hitting a tree and rolling over in a ditch on the side of the road.
