Disney/Randy HolmesOn April 8, Jason Derulo and Michael Bublé dropped the video for their joint single "Spicy Margarita." The video ends with a "To Be Continued" note, and Jason told ABC Audio a few months ago there are actually four parts to the saga, with Michael co-starring in all of them.According to Jason, the saga revolves around a stone with some kind of mysterious power. He told ABC Audio, "Michael plays a club owner who is also a performer within his club, and these guys bring him a stone of some sort and ... they're trying to sell it to him, and he's like, 'What is this thing, dude?'""I don't want to tell you what happens next, but he plays a really kind of likable villain," Jason continues. "And it's an overarching story that surrounds this stone that holds these powers."While the "Spicy Margarita" video signals that Michael's character isn't a nice guy, so far we haven't seen this mysterious stone — and Jason also hinted there's murder going on. We'll have to wait for the next installment, but Jason says he really enjoyed working with Michael on the project."It's just been a lot of fun getting to know him, getting know how he ticks and the other side of him as well, you know, because he's a riot," says Jason."I didn't know whether he was going to be the quiet one in a room or the loud one in the room. He's definitely the loud one in the room," Jason says. "It's just really been kind of a really fun, fun process."Copyright © 2024, ABC Audio. All rights reserved.

On his Instagram Story, he announced that he was canceling his planned April 7 show in London, Ontario due to illness, and rescheduling it to April 17."I performed in Toronto sick last night. I was thinking I'd be okay to do a show, but felt very faint and disoriented for most of the night. I feel worse today," he wrote on April 7. "I would never reschedule a show without feeling like it was a genuine threat to my own health and safety and sadly this is one of those occasions."He then went on to say that he didn't want to, "further hurt my voice and body by pushing through, potentially having to cancel future shows or not tour at all due to vocal injury." Noah added that he was, "really sorry to let you down," saying he had, "so much respect for the sacrifices you make to make it [to] my shows."On Instagram, Noah also revealed that after he appeared at Olivia's show on April 5, he watched the rest of the show from the audience, wearing a long blond wig to disguise his appearance. "Sometimes you need a disguise to watch the best show on earth and that's just how it is," he wrote.Copyright © 2024, ABC Audio. All rights reserved.

Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Live NationOlivia Rodrigo and Noah Kahan have had a mutual admiration society going for months now, and it all culminated on April 5, onstage at New York's Madison Square Garden, during Olivia's GUTS world tour.Olivia was playing the first of four nights at the legendary venue when, about three-quarters of the way into the show, she said she was really excited about performing the next song. She then brought Noah onstage and they sang a duet of his hit "Stick Season," as the crowd screamed along with every word.Noah, who's currently on tour in Canada, made a special trip to New York to sing with Olivia; he's scheduled to perform in Toronto on April 6.You may recall that Olivia performed a version of "Stick Season" for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, and then Noah returned the favor by performing a version of Olivia's song "Lacy." A split single of both versions is coming out on vinyl for Record Store Day on April 20.After their duet, Olivia wrote on Instagram that Noah is "the greatest of allllll time !!!!!!"  Noah replied in the comments, "Better than the original!! Olivia you’re a star best show I’ve ever seen."He also wrote on X, formerly Twitter, "Olivia rodrigo is such a special talent and person and I just can’t thank her and her band and team for inviting me to sing tonight. You deserve it all ."On stage later in the show, Olivia leaned into the New York City aesthetic by rocking a tank top that read "Carrie Bradshaw AF."Copyright © 2024, ABC Audio. All rights reserved.

Disney/Chris WillardBillie Eilish has acknowledged that the mysterious billboards with weird phrases on them do indeed have something to do with her.Fans on social media have been sharing photos of the billboards, which include Eilish's "blohsh" logo as well as cryptic phrases like "She's the headlights I'm the deer" and "Did I cross the line?" Fans have been predicting that the billboards are displaying lyrics from her upcoming album. On April 3, Billie shared a photo of one of those billboards to her Instagram Story that said, "Do you know how to bend?" It's now been deleted, but it's been captured by fans. The blue in the lettering matches the solid blue color that she's currently using for her profile pics on Facebook and Instagram. On April 4, Billie posted a photo to her Instagram Story that shows a darker blue background with white splatters on it and a hand in the lower right-hand corner. The post is also marked with a green star, denoting that only people Billie has added to her "Close Friends" list can see the post. Right now, that list apparently includes everybody.Eilish's most recent album is 2021's Happier Than Ever. In December, she shared that a follow-up is "almost done" and revealed in February that the record had been mastered.Copyright © 2024, ABC Audio. All rights reserved.

NetflixOn Thursday, Netflix dropped the trailer to Mother of the Bride, the romantic comedy starring Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove and Benjamin Bratt.Shields plays Lana, whose daughter Emma (Cosgrove) surprises her with her plans to get married and the fact that she's set a date in Thailand. The surprises keep coming when Lana finds out that the father of the groom, played by Benjamin Bratt, "is the guy who tore my heart out" in college."We were everything to each other," Lana tells her daughter. "And one day he was just gone."There's a meet-not-so-cute between the former couple when the reveal happens, which Lana tries to play off. To make things even more awkward, she accidentally walks in on Bratt's character naked, a la Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton in 2003's Something's Gotta Give.Complicating matters is a hunky young doctor with eyes on Lana — and sparks during a wedding dance rehearsal that hints the former college sweethearts could give love a second chance.Mother of the Bride, directed by Mean Girls and Freaky Friday veteran Mark Waters, debuts May 9 on Netflix. Copyright © 2024, ABC Audio. Prime VideoNot only is Música Rudy Mancuso’s directorial debut, it’s also the film where he met his girlfriend, Camila Mendes, who co-stars alongside him and serves as a producer.Mancuso got his start as a creator on Vine, where he found “reasons to tell little stories in some way,” he told ABC Audio. “I was in love with film and music and film music for as long as I can remember, before I learned the language of the internet or was on the grid at all."His experience on Vine, then YouTube, brought him to LA, where he was suddenly surrounded by creatives working in film and TV.“I didn't know how I would get there. But I knew that one day I had to get to a place where I could make my film. And it just so happened to work,” Mancuso said of Música, a coming-of-age romance about a Brazilian-American college student. Another thing that worked was getting his top-choice actress for his character’s love interest in Mendes.“She's fantastically talented, beautiful inside and out. What I didn't expect was how strong of a producer she was too," Mancuso said. “She's so lovable and natural and grounded and inviting and warm. And that's exactly what the character is meant to evoke.”Ultimately, it was the lack of Brazilian-American and synesthesia representation in mainstream film and TV that drove Mancuso to make Música.“In this film, I had the opportunity to do both," Mancuso said. "Brazilian culture is so specific and so nuanced, and the country is massive, and the people are so beautiful and passionate. For some reason it's not represented in mainstream as frequently as it should ... Cami and I got really excited about being able to do that in an authentic way.”Música is available to stream Thursday on Prime Video. Copyright © 2024, ABC Audio. All rights reserved.
