the des moines register med mediacom cnn poll still has former vice president joe biden in the lead, but his share of the vote has dropped three points since march to 24%. senator bernie sanders is eight points behind at 16%, down nine points from march, while senator elizabeth warren says jumped six points to 15% and mayor pete buttigieg got a 13-point bump from practically nothing in march to now take 14% of likely caucusgoers. senator kamala harris stayed put at 7%. senator amy klobuchar and beto o rourke each dropped to 2%. meanwhile, seven others hit 1% in the poll, which helped them as candidates continue to work to qualify for one of the first debates a little more than two weeks away. adrien adrienne, i think the elizabeth warren part of this poll might be the story, but also talk ....

Having that massive field that produced donald trump, in the context of what we re seeing joe biden doing here, this strategy of separating himself away from the pack. when everyone runs to california, he goes over here and does something else. i think it was a shrewd political move. there wasn t much incentive for him to go. there s one important difference between 2016 and now, in 2016 the first debate was fairly cordial, mostly the candidates were introducing themselves. this time around with 20 candidates, they re going to be in search of that viral moment. so i think the knives will be out and joe biden will be the main target of that, and adrienne is right. in california, early voting actually overlaps with the iowa caucuses i think system people think kamala might be a favorite in that. so someone like a biden on or a ....
